Hi, friends. I am a regular blogger and have been blogging for last 8 years. During the initial days of blogging, I was not very much aware of search engine optimization. However, after doing a great deal of research about the same, I began to like this process. With due course of time, with the help of my endless efforts I became successful in creating some niche sites. This is one of the primary things I have learnt while researching about SEO services, so I tried my best to proceed with it.
I think SEO is amazing
Within couple of months I realized that these SEO things were going on the right way, in simple words – they were working and the number of the visitors was also increasing at a slow, but consistent pace. This made me addicted to drive more and more visitors. Moreover, it reinforced my belief that making use of search engine optimization tools and techniques is one of the best ways to generate targeted traffic, as much as possible. One of the other aspects I came to learn during that time is – in order to optimize a website just generating good content is not enough. Another research began
The time I came to know about the two important SEO techniques mentioned above, I began my research work all over again and applied this approach to one of the niche websites I created. I was shattered by the deadly Penguin Update
Everything was going well until the Penguin Update hit me and all my hard work went in vain. However, I did not have any idea about the exact reasons for which by website was punished, but gradually realized that some went wrong with link building. One of my best friends who were working as a search engine optimization manager at a reputed firm told me I have overdone article marketing. He also told me I have used the same anchor text again and again. Doing such repetitive use of the same has made by link profile look unnatural. However, I did that by mistake. My intention was not to trick Google in any case.
I learnt from my mistake
However, I rose all over again, learning a great lesson from my mistake. This time I was well prepared and focused to my goal. Gradually, I learnt a number of new things about SEO and other aspects related to it. Also, I started using a rank tracker application that helped me to track SEO rankings for every page and keyword. That tool also helped me to store the data for future use. Since then, I have never looked back.
