Are you a 90s kid? A millennial or generation Z? Well, if you are, then visit your grandparents this weekend and ask them the following questions:
- Did you imagine you could see your grandchildren’s face living miles away?
- Did you imagine you will have the gadget to remind you what you have to bring from the supermarket?
- Did you ever imagine you will get delivered fruits and veggies at home just with the touch of a screen?
As you can already guess, there can be a long list of such questions, but you got my point. Technology made lives easier even back then, but today, the advancements have surpassed all its benefits. Now, we can achieve everything we imagine with technology.
Making my case stronger lets us see how technology has brought us convenience and our lives easier.
Valet parking system technology
I know that sense of relief we get when valet operators use their valet parking systems and how conveniently we carry on with our work, leaving all the worries about parking our car in a secure and safe spot. It is like a cherry on the cake when we get notified to pick up our vehicles. Isn’t it? I must say, in today’s busy world, this technology is saving us time and gifting us hassle-free life experience.
Online shopping:
You must have shopped online once in your lifetime! It is becoming a new normal. We all remember how beneficial it was while we all were in lockdown, and delivery for essentials was allowed. This pandemic has shown us the real value of online shopping. But anyway, there are times when we can not walk to the stores and buy stuff that we need, and online shopping comes to our rescue. Imagine we have older adults at home, and we have to leave for an important business meeting, and they need something while we are away! Yes, their last resort can be online shopping if they can not move out.
Even if we can visit supermarkets, malls, and grocery shops, online shopping can save our precious time and invest productively.
Learning has become a child’s play
Access to the internet can enable you to learn anything. We can access tons of information from thousands of sources directly on our screens. It does not just help you with random concepts when the need is; it can allow you to take courses available on various platforms like a formal education delivery system.
Work from home is bliss
Remember the difficult times? Many of our global citizens are going through job loss and job insecurity because of the pandemic. Thanks to technology, many of us today still have jobs and are working from home. We can access every necessary information from anywhere. Physical location loses relevance when we only have to deliver our work online.
We do not realize when a new technology enters our lives becomes an integral part of it. “The advance of technology is based on making it fit in so that you don’t really even notice it, so it’s part of everyday life.” -Bill Gates, co-founder of Microsoft.
